Our Story
Keeping old Rajasthan alive
Heartland Dunes is a desert camp on the Sam Dunes near Jaisalmer. We mix old Rajasthani traditions with modern comfort, so every guest feels like family.
Who we are
New camp, big heart
We are a new name in hospitality. But our passion and care are as strong as the oldest hotels. At Heartland Dunes, every guest is family.
We have 12 Swiss tents. Each tent is 16 ft × 32 ft, with a private bathroom and a beautiful view of the golden dunes.
There is lots to enjoy: camel safaris, folk music evenings, and fresh Sattvik (pure vegetarian) food made with local ingredients.

Meet our founder
Dipika Khinvasara
Dipika is a social entrepreneur from Pune. She is also the Founder-Director of the Devataru Foundation for Assisted Living in Pune.
She brings her kindness and experience from social work into hospitality. She believes that “Social work is the Art of Listening and the Science of Hope.” That is why service at Heartland Dunes is warm, honest and truly human.
